Today, Campaign 2000 sent an open letter, endorsed by 50 partners, to the Prime Minister, Secretaries of State and all elected officials urging them to pass Bill S-212, An Act respecting a national strategy for children and youth, without delay.
This Bill would require the federal government to work across jurisdictions, with First Nations, Inuit and Métis leaders, partners, families and children and youth themselves, to develop a coordinated national strategy with measurable objectives and action plan. Importantly, it would complete the job of ending child poverty once and for all.
